The vehicle export community lost a great friend over the holidays. Max Ruefenacht passed away on December 22, 2011, following a stroke. Max was the founder and long-time President of the American Automotive Shippers Association and, for decades, owned Autobern LLC.
Max was a tremendous friend to all of his colleagues in the vehicle export industry. Max’s kindness, warmth and generosity will be fondly remembered and will be deeply missed.
